Who is Artful Awareness?
Artful Awareness is passionate about helping individuals reclaim their birthright as artists, dancers and writers. They are committed to dismantling the illusion of ‘professional & trained’ as being prerequisites for a rich, creative life.
Jo Woods and Sarah Winter co-founded Artful Awareness in 2016. Together they provide wildly creative opportunities for embodied exploration and expression by offering a fusion of Dance, Creativity, and Therapeutic Arts Practice to a range of diverse populations.
Sarah Winter (she/they) has a Masters in Creative Arts Therapy and is a qualified Open Floor Movement Teacher & Therapy In Motion Practitioner.
Sarah has a thriving private Art Therapy practice situated in the Yarra Valley with a specialty in ASD, ADHD & Anxiety management. Sarah also facilitates creative workshops for the Yarra Ranges Council & local Community groups.
Sarah believes passionately in the healing power of the Arts, and the benefit of anchoring personal insights with integrative practices that help to build more robust pathways to becoming fuller, more alive, emotionally intelligent human beings.
